The conference will be held in Hotel Valpré*** in Ecully, near Lyon. The hotel rooms overlook the park of 6 hectares.
The following special rates have been negotiated with the conference hotel - Valpré*** (http://www.valpre.com):
- Double/twin room (one occupant) with breakfast: € 96.80 + 1.10€ per night (local taxes)
- Double/twin room (two occupants) with breakfast: € 118.80 + 1.10€ per night per occupant (local taxes)
The above special rates are negotiated for three nights (Monday 4 June 2018, Tuesday 5 June and Wednesday 6 nights) and are valid until 23 April 2018. The hotel hold 104 chambers which will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Note: The conference organizers won’t have any responsibility for hotel booking. In case of troubles with booking, the conference organizers can provide a list of nearby hotel.
1) Travel to Lyon:

People flying from European countries might especially consider options with a plenty of low-cost flights.
People flying from non-European countries might consider available strategic connections with important European towns, such as Paris, Geneva and London.
- by rail to Lyon train station
Lyon Part-Dieu and Lyon Perrache are the two main train stations in the city. Some trains, especially low-cost trains can arrive at the train station in the airport Lyon Saint Exupéry.

2) Travel from Lyon airport to the conference hotel
The conference location, Valpré, is about 33 km far from Lyon airport, and can be reached as follows:
- by taxi
A travel by taxi costs about € 50.00, one way (30min). Taxis are available in front of the airport. One can note that Uber also reach the airport (around 40€). - by hire car
A number of major hire car providers operate at the airport. Hotel is easily accessible by the highway A6 (3 minutes from the highway intersection Valvert) and the Périphérique TEO. Furthermore, Valpré offers a free private parking with 150 parking places (closed at night).
- by tramway Rhone Express
Rhone express tramway (https://www.rhonexpress.fr/ ) connects the train station Gare Part-Dieu to the airport in 29 minutes. One way costs 15.90 and return 27.50. Tickets can be bought online (less expensive), at automatic ticket vending machines at the stations (normal price) or from the stewards (extra charges of 4€). In the airport, follow the signs “Rhone express” to reach the tramway.
3) Travel from Part-Dieu train station to the conference hotel
The conference location, Valpré, is about 13 km far from Lyon airport and train station, and can be reached as follows:

A travel by taxi costs about € 30.00, one way. Taxis are available in front of the train station.

- by public transport
Depending on your time of arrival, various connections are possible. You can find information online (http://www.tcl.fr/). An example of classic journey taking around 40min: at Part-Dieu train station, take the subway line B direction Gare d’Oullins and stop at “Saxe-Gambetta”, connect with line D direction Gare de Vaise and stop at “Georges du Loup”. Finally, take the bus 19 direction Ecully-Le Pérollier, stop at the station “Valpré” and walk less than 5min. One ticket cost 1.80€ and is valid during 1h.
